Moving while sitting – PRO school chair by Grcic and Flötotto
The latest requirements for school furniture in mind Konstantin Grcic has designed Pro chair for the German manufacturer Flötotto with a strong heritage in creating school furniture.
PRO was launched at IMM Cologne 2012 together with photos taken by the controversial Italian photographer, Oliviero Toscani – demonstrating PRO’s versatility, functionality and classroom seating that encourages movement. The design brief was actually based on recent studies recommending active sitting during shool hours. Besides that, the use of PRO chair obviously goes beyond the educational enviroment thanks to its functionality and appealing S shape.
