Design Junction is the heart of this year’s London Design Festival

This September the London Design Festival is celebrating its tenth year and Design Junction will be its premier destination. Design Junctions is hosting Tramshed, Midcentury Modern and The Crafts Council - with a powerful line-up of world renowned brands and creative enterprises housed in London’s largest non-purpose built event space. From 14 until 23 September, the LDF will feature hundreds of events that will take place across London.

Design Junction will be set within the impressive surrounds of a 1960s Sorting Office, the venue offers a spectacular industrial backdrop to showcase the best in global design. Moving away from the traditional trade show environment, it will strike the perfect balance between creative and commercial, offering visitors a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere in which to engage and connect with design.

Design Junction last year attracted 6,500 visitors.

Three floors, across an impressive 120,000 sq ft. space, will be devoted to leading international brands, smaller cutting-edge labels, pop-up shops, large-scale  installations, temporary restaurants, bars and cafes, working flash factories, live entertainment, a leading seminar programme and much more.

Design Junction last year attracted 6,500 visitors. It is led by Spencer Projects, Modus Furniture and art directed by Michael Sodeau Partnerships. It has been launched in April 2011 during the Milan urniture Fair, where it attracted more than 20,000 visitors through the door. The event transferred to the UK for the London Design Festival in September 2011 with a stellar line up of global brands.
