Design Junction is the heart of this year’s London Design Festival
Design Junction will be set within the impressive surrounds of a 1960s Sorting Office, the venue offers a spectacular industrial backdrop to showcase the best in global design. Moving away from the traditional trade show environment, it will strike the perfect balance between creative and commercial, offering visitors a vibrant yet relaxed atmosphere in which to engage and connect with design.
Three floors, across an impressive 120,000 sq ft. space, will be devoted to leading international brands, smaller cutting-edge labels, pop-up shops, large-scale installations, temporary restaurants, bars and cafes, working flash factories, live entertainment, a leading seminar programme and much more.
Design Junction last year attracted 6,500 visitors. It is led by Spencer Projects, Modus Furniture and art directed by Michael Sodeau Partnerships. It has been launched in April 2011 during the Milan urniture Fair, where it attracted more than 20,000 visitors through the door. The event transferred to the UK for the London Design Festival in September 2011 with a stellar line up of global brands.
